Vera’s Pride™ is a visually appealing female kiwi variety that produces substantial, delicious, pale orange fruit. It is also characterized by abundant, fragrant, white flowers and striking, frosted white patches on the rich, green, young leaves. The fruit has a unique, “spicy” finish to the flavor that other kiwis don’t display. Also unique to A. polygama varieties is an unusual quality to their wood that makes it very compelling to cats – it contains a compound like catnip that over 80% of cats can safely enjoy.

The dainty-looking vines are exceptionally cold hardy, surviving lows down to -40F! Disease-resistant and tolerant of partial shade, this vine is an unusual delight.
