However, we understand that sometimes a plant may not thrive as expected, or an order might need adjustment. This policy outlines our commitment to making things right.

Our Guarantee: Healthy Plants, Happy Gardeners

We guarantee that all our plants, from Cherry Rootstock to Blueberry bushes, will arrive in healthy, dormant condition, ready for their new home in your garden. If you encounter any issues, please reach out within 15 days of receiving your shipment. We are here to help you grow successfully.

Please Note: Due to the living, perishable nature of our products, Bare Root Strawberry Plants, Bare Root fruit trees, and all other live plants (Apples, Apricots, Aronia, Asian Pears, Asian Plums, Berries, Black Currants, Blackberries, Blueberries, Cherries, China Blue Vine, Cider Apple Trees, Cider Pears, Combination Fruit Trees, and all Combo trees) are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive dead or damaged. Our guarantee covers plant health upon arrival, not subsequent growth issues due to local soil, climate, or care. Please inspect your plants immediately upon delivery.

What Can Be Returned or Exchanged?

We accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Non-plant merchandise (e.g., tools, books, accessories) in original, unused condition.
  • Live plants only if they arrive dead or severely damaged. Please contact us within 15 days of delivery with photos for assessment.
  • Incorrect items shipped due to our error.

Step-by-Step Return & Exchange Process

Step 1: Contact Us Within 15 Days

Initiate your return or exchange by contacting our dedicated support team within 15 days of receiving your order. Please use the email template below to ensure we have all necessary information to assist you promptly.

Step 2: Provide Details & Photos (For Plant Issues)

For any concerns about plant health upon arrival, please provide your order number and clear photographs of the plant(s) in question. This helps us understand the issue and provide the best solution—whether it’s a replacement, store credit, or refund.

Step 3: Authorization & Instructions

Once your request is reviewed and authorized, we will email you detailed return instructions, including a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the return address. Please do not ship any items back without an RMA number.

Step 4: Ship the Item (If Applicable)

For eligible non-plant returns, please pack the item securely in its original packaging, include the RMA number inside the package, and ship it to the address provided. Return shipping costs for non-defective items are the customer’s responsibility.

Refund Timeline & Method

Once we receive and inspect your returned item (for non-plant goods) or approve your plant claim:

  • Refunds to Original Payment Method: Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days of approval. The funds may take an additional 5-10 business days to appear on your credit card or PayPal account, depending on your financial institution.
  • Store Credit: Issued immediately via email as a gift card code for future purchases of Apple Rootstock, Berries, Cider Pears, or any other plants in our catalog.
  • Replacements: Shipped as soon as possible, subject to stock availability. We will notify you of the shipping schedule.

Please note, original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Exchanges

Exchanges are subject to product availability. For size or variety exchanges (e.g., swapping a Combo Cherry for a different variety), please contact us, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. If the desired exchange item is of higher value, the difference will be charged. If it is of lower value, we will issue a store credit for the difference.
