Reine De Mirabelle European Plum

While not considered a “true” Mirabelles (it is claimed to be a cross between the original green Gage plum Reine Claude and a French Mirabelle) this larger, golden plum exceeds other Mirabelles in size and ripens a bit later, extending the coveted Mirabelle season. It is prized in Europe as a culinary plum, for fresh eating and for luscious preserves. 

Prefers full sun and good drainage; easier to grow than most Gage plums.
